n Exodus 33 God tells Moses that He will not go with the Israelites to the Promised Land. This is startling news to the leader of the Israelites and Moses' response to this news is nothing short of remarkable. Looking at one interchange between God and Moses, we get a glimpse into the heart of Moses and witness one of his core beliefs about God: anywhere with Him is better than anywhere without Him.
