What Is AWAKEN?

Something wild has been happening in Dallas and it’s just too good not to share. Lives are being changed. Relationships are being restored. Young adults are coming alive as they experience what it’s like to be the Church God always meant for his people to be. Thousands are gathering weekly at The Porch, and hundreds of thousands are tuning in from across the nation (even starting their own livestream gatherings) to be part of what God is doing through the lives of young adults.

So we created a conference to bring everyone together IRL. Not because the world needs another Christian conference, but because when young adults radically live out their God-given purpose, they change the world. And because we believe what is happening here can happen wherever you are.

The AWAKEN Conference is a doorway to the purpose-driven, world-changing, norm-shattering life you dream of having. For anyone tired of just showing face on Sundays or wondering if there’s more to your life, we’re spending Memorial Day Weekend 2020 redefining Church – the way God designed it from the start.

What should I expect?

Thousands from across the country will come together May 23-25, 2020 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, TX to see The Porch in real life and meet Porchies from all across the country. Through a weekend of biblical teaching, worship, and unique breakouts—filled with fun, community building, and of course some surprises—you and your peers will have a chance to unwind from the stresses of life while opening your eyes, raising your hands, and awakening your soul to the exhilarating life God calls you to, together as the Church.

We will have amazing speakers lined up that you won’t want to miss; watch our AWAKEN 2019 speakers here for cred. We have parties planned, hotel rooms blocked off, and unique content in store to give you the perfect balance of learning, relaxing, and having the best Memorial Day weekend you could ever imagine with #noregrets. Come tired from your crazy work sched, spent from everything going on, or all jacked up on Mountain Dew. You plan the travel and submit that vacation request, and let us do the rest to make this a weekend you’ll never forget.

For anyone wondering if God can use you, anyone curious about His plans for your life, or anyone wanting to know Jesus more, AWAKEN is one of the only Christian conferences geared toward young adults like you.

Should I bring a crew or come alone?

Young adult ministries and Porch Live locations from all over the country use AWAKEN as a time to retreat together. But if you’re #flyingsolo or gathering a crew of friends from across the country, it’s also the weekend for you. The Porch is hosting, so make sure to leave time in your sched to chat with new friends from across the world about your fav episode of Views from the Porch!
